i made it safely to lone fir resort where i am staying the night since i am alone and didn't want to 'camp' in the woods by myself. above is a photo from the lone fir website showing where i am in cougar washington.
i made time on the way to do some rock cairn art at yale reservoir. if you look closely, mount st. helens is the small smidge of a mountain just above the tiniest rock on the cairn.
and here i sit doing last mintue research before going to bed early so that i can wake early and get up on that volcano.
