alberta park - a trail i'm considering walking on a daily basis.
wow, wow, WOW....how did that happen. it's november. who knew. you know how it just sneaks up on you and says BAM i'm here...yeah, that's what it's like. AND today marks ONE week since i arrived in portland, oregon. still surreal that i'm even here. i had great intentions of an amazing blog post for my first week but alas, i have been swamped with work. i am very grateful to be as busy as i've been.
just yesterday i chose the new Ruby Rock-It Design Team for 2011-2012. that was not an easy task. i received so many great entries, it's always hard to chose the best representation of a company and brand, luckily i survived and i'm sleeping again.
here's the list if you'd like to see it:
we will soon get busy on all the fun that is forthcoming. i'm so excited for this team!
rosie
toops
the house sit is going great. rosie and toops are lovely. such divas they are too. i'm really enjoying taking care of them. always wanted chickens of my own. now i get to add them to my repertoire at least.
a driveway off of broadway.
did i happen to mention that fall arrived a few days before i did!!?? WOW. i've seen fall in four different states within at least two months time. who knew that i would have that opportunity. the colors are so diferent here as there are more species of trees to change colors. the whole range of colors in fall is represented here. sigh.
just wanted those who are watching to know that i'm alive and well. thanks for caring.
cheers to a great week,
rachel
